As I finally sit down to start a blog that I've been thinking of doing for a long time...
4 little red lights flash across the room and a faint cry roars through my room. Right on schedule.
The schedule being her schedule, not mine of course.
I'm not even sure what I'll keep this blog for. Not sure what things I'll talk about. I just know this...
This is MY journey...I'm a woman, a girlfriend, a career woman, an educator, and most recently and
MOST IMPORTANTLY...a mother.
I've worked for 6 years to have a career...a career I worked my butt off for and was so proud of myself the day I took the Board of Behavioral Sciences exam and was titled a Licensed Clinical Social Worker.
I was married and divorced.
I haven't had the easiest road with my boyfriend...but together we created this life called Irelyn. My world, my heart, my breath, my joy...no greater joy have I ever known!
So maybe this blog will be about that. Being the very best mom I can be...and that means still taking care of me! Learning how to do that...how do I do that?
